A heavy decorative wrought iron fireplace fender in the manner of Oscar Bach with scrollwork and bullseye panels centered between each short twisted rod with pointed caps, supported by button feet. Probably dates to the late 19th century, with an Sept 21, 1886 patent date embossed back of the center iron rod in very good overall condition, with some minimal surface rust and great overall patina.
