A wonderful oil on canvas yacht or ship portrait of the S.Y. Diana, flying the colors of the the American flag, unsigned, with an accompanying hand written 1907 menu and photo album with several sepia photos of building the ship, including some individuals involved, possibly owner Commodore Blair, and a small article written about the ship and one of its many international cruises. The article makes reference to the yacht’s affiliation to the New York Yacht Club. Oil on canvas, unsigned, and housed in a molded giltwood frame. The painting dates to the early 20th century and has several old repairs - please contact us for a full condition report before purchasing.
