A fine cherrywood hepplewhite five drawer chest in a two over three graduated drawer configuration, with rectangular top lined around its edge with small inlaid circles. The brasses appear to be period, but not original to the piece. Probably Connecticut River Valley in origin, dating to circa 1790-1820 in very good condition, with some minor repairs and restorations, as well as minimal expected wear from age and use.
