Assembled Set of Seven 19th c English Elmwood Captains Chairs

A fine assembled set of seven English elmwood captains chairs with varying splat designs, bentwood stretchers, boldly turned legs (one variant with arrow or peg foot), and carved plank saddle form seats. The set is in good overall condition, with visible losses on a few of the ball feet, splats, shrinkage cracks, small crack repairs, some light finish and other restorations, and expected wear from age and use. This set most likely dates to the 19th century. Dimensions: Each measure approximately 28 ¼” h x 25” w x 18 ½” d.
