A nice example of a walnut tall chest with molded cornice surmounting a two over four drawer configuration, supported by an ogee bracket base, with replaced but appropriate brasses. The tall chest dates to the 18th century, probably Pennsylvania in origin, and is in very good overall condition, with some restorations, shrinkage cracks, drawer and top edge losses, minor repairs, and expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 54 ½” h x 40 ¾” w x 23” d.
