Period 18th / 19th c Pennsylvania Comb Back Windsor Rocking Chair

A wonderful example of a period Pennsylvania comb back Windsor rocking chair with carved ears, splayed legs supporting a wide shaped saddle form seat, strong turned stretchers, painted in a deep mocha color, with hints of its original dark color showing through on the arms and back. Probably dates to the turn of the late 18th or early 19th century, in very good overall condition, with some imperfections, restorations, and expected light wear from age and use. Dimensions: 38” h x 28 ½” w x 32” d, with a 17” seat height.
