Folk Art Painted Limited Edition Hitchcock Christmas Chair with Rush Seat 1972

A fine example of a hand painted folk art rush seat side chair with a country farm scene and Christmas holly, by the Hitchcock Chair Company. The farm scene is signed lower left by the artist “M. Morgan,” and the back of the chair reads “Christmas- 1972, Limited Edition, L. Hitchcock, Hitchcocksville, Conn., Warranted”. Very good overall condition, with some minor leg wear, imperfections, and light expected overall wear from age and use. Dimensions: 37” h x 17 ½” w x 17” d, with a seat height of 18” h.
