A good example of a brass refracting telescope with additional eyepiece, mounted on a period wooden tripod, signed “A. Bardou, Paris” near the eyepiece. The tripod base has a large metal stabilizing screw, with legs adjustable at the top of the tripod. Good overall condition, with overall tarnishing, minor dents on the telescope shaft, and a broken leather strap, as well as other imperfections and expected wear from age and use.
