A fine two-part George III Welsh two-part dresser or cupboard in oak, its bookcase top case with molded cornice over three open shelves, supported by shoe feet, surmounting a rectangular lower case with three fitted drawers over three vertical fitted center drawers flanked by two paneled doors, opening to interior storage compartment on each side, double molded paneled sides, with plain apron and square legs. The brasses appear to be original and the piece has great patina, retaining most of its old surface. Good overall condition, original old surface with some restorations, imperfections, and small losses on the back and door panels, as well as on some of the door frames, & expected wear from age and use. English, dating to the late 18th- early 19th century. Dimensions: 77 1/2" h x 55" w x 20 1/2" d.
