A beautiful 18th century New England two-part high chest or highboy, the top case with molded cornice surmounting four graduated long drawers, over a lower case with two graduated drawers over a scalloped skirt, all supported by four nice cabriole legs, terminating with pad feet. The two cases we believe are associated.The piece is in very good overall condition, with great color, some restorations, shrinkage cracks, replaced batwing brasses, and light expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 70 ½” h x 41” w x 20 ¼” d.
