A nice Louis XVI walnut two-door bookcase with molded carved cornice surmounting a rectangular case with two glass cabinet doors with shaped surrounds with corner carved ribbon tied floral sprays, opening to reveal four adjustable shelves, raised panels on the sides, and molded apron, supported by four restored feet. Dates to the late 18th century, with French origin. The bookcase is in good overall condition with great patina, with some restorations to its cornice, shelves, and feet, as well as some worm damage and shelf wear visible. Dimensions: 71" h x 49 3/4" w x 18 1/4" d.
