Peter Wallace Polychrome Low Back Windsor Chair with Left Handed Writing Arm

A fine example of a 20th century custom bench made low back Windsor chair with left handed writing arm in an antique green and red color finish made by acclaimed Windsor furniture maker Peter H. Wallace in Kutztown, PA. The desk / chair is stamped under the seat “P. Wallace” and is in fine overall condition, with minor imperfections and light expected wear from age and use. There are some white paint splotches on the underside of the chair frame and on the writing arm edges. Dimensions: 31 ¼” h x 36” w x 31” d, with a 17” h seat.
