A fine example of an 18th century polychrome hanging corner cabinet with molded cornice, a single paneled door which opens to a two shaped shelf painted interior. The cabinet has a base paint of oxblood, with added foliate and geometric chinoiserie decoration with figures in gold and other colors. It appears to have retained its original hardware. The cabinet is in very good condition, with a old repaired split on the back, corner and paint losses, other imperfections, and expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 32” h x 25” w x 13 ½” d.
