This nicely done primitive oil painting is a 20th century copy of a famous painting titled “The Cornell Farm,” originally painted by well known American Quaker folk artist Edward Hicks (1780-1849). This copy is oil on a fireboard, monogrammed lower right “J.M.B.” A color image of Hicks’ original work is attached to the back of the board. Dimensions: 32” h x 51 ¾” w x 1 ⅜” d. A very attractive primitive folk art piece!
