A wonderful rare two piece apothecary cabinet / desk with molded cornice over an upper case with two glazed glass doors (one of which on the right side is a hinged double glass door) which open to reveal four interior long shelves, over a center open compartment flanked by two doors on each side, each opening to reveal a single interior shelf. The lower case has a writing surface over a center valanced kneehole opening flanked by two long doors and three deep drawers on each side, all supported by bracket feet. The cabinet / desk is in very good refinished condition, with some cracks visible on the kneehole valance, and on one interior shelf in the upper case, as well as other surface imperfections, losses, and expected wear from age and use. Dates to the 19th century. Dimensions: 84 ¼” h x 67 ¼” w x 20” d.
