A fine Hepplewhite cherry graduated four drawer chest with tiger maple drawer fronts banded in mahogany, with cockbeaded edges, delicate line inlay along the top and bottom, decorative oval brasses, and a shaped skirt with an oval center inlaid tiger maple drop, indicative of Massachusetts or New Hampshire, circa 1790-1810, supported by splayed legs. Excellent overall condition with minor old repairs, minor shrinkage cracks, back edge restoration, other imperfections, and expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 37 3/8" h x 40" w x 20 3/4" d.
