An exceptional French cameo art glass bulbous vase from the Rubis line of master glass maker François Théodore Legras (1839-1916).The Rubis line has a frosted chipped ice background, with intertwining leaves and berries, which are cameo cut and etched, going around the exterior of the vase in a fine plum color. Dates to the early 20th century, signed “Legras,” and etched on base “Made in France”. Very good overall condition, with some minor surface imperfections, scuffs, and light expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 9 ¼” h x 9 ½” in diameter, with a 3 ⅜” diameter lip and 4 ¾” diameter base rim.
