An exceptional French Art Nouveau patinated bronze figural table lamp with of a young woman in a long flowing gown with long hair. Unsigned, stamped with “Paris Louchet Ciseleur” foundry mark. Paul Louchet(1854-1936) was born in Paris, studied with Jules Lefebvre, and became well known in Paris as a sculptor, and with his brother, Albert, opened a foundry in Paris where he cast his own work, as well as edited and designed other sculptors’ works. A beautiful example of French Art Nouveau style, circa 1900. Very good overall condition, with some edge wear and imperfections. The lamp is in working order. Dimensions: 28" h x 6 3/4" diameter base. The shade measures 11" diameter.
