This modernist oil painting interior scene titled “The Shift” was done by contemporary New Hampshire artist Christopher Myott (1982-). In 2005, Chris Myott received a BS in studio arts at Chester College, located near Manchester, NH, and he spent two years living and working in Boston. After an apprenticeship at Boston's Institute of Contemporary art (ICA), Myott returned in 2007 to New Hampshire where he currently works as a furniture maker and artist in the Monadnock region, as well as pursuing his passion of rebuilding vintage motorcycles. His work has been featured in Iron and Air magazine, as well as Yankee magazine, and other publications.
