A diminutive two-piece Georgian oak Welsh cupboard, its upper section with molded cornice, two fixed plate shelves and paneled back, fitted into two shoe-form feet which are attached to the base section. This lower section has a molded edge on its working surface, surmounting two fitted drawers above an arcaded apron raised on three front supports and two rear legs, and a lower molded medial shelf with a rectangular apron. Dates to the 18th century. Very good overall condition, with a nice original brown surface and replaced period brasses. Some shrinkage splits and losses, and other imperfections and expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 69" h x 52" w x 15" d.
