A tall ebonized wooden pedestal, probably beechwood, with great form, designed by Otto Prutscher (1880-1949) for Thonet, circa 1910. Elegant scrollwork with three long, slender support legs between a round top and base. Very good overall condition, with some finish restoration, along with some surface shrinkage and unevenness/warping to the top. Dimensions: 49 1/4" h x 15 3/8" diameter top.
