A wonderful limited edition lithograph published in 1983 titled “Outward Bound” with an old sea captain, a young boy, and his dog looking out to sea, by famous American artist Norman Rockwell (1894-1978). Rockwell was born in New York City and went on to become one of the most recognizable American illustrators of all time, with many of his works appearing on the covers of Saturday Evening Post, just to name one magazine. This limited edition lithograph is pencil inscribed 1355/2500 lower left with the official Norman Rockwell estate sticker, a reproduced signature lower right, matted and framed under glass in a dragooned edge black wooden frame. A certificate of authenticity is attached in an envelope on verso. Dimensions: 24” h x 20” w, actual; 36 ¾” h x 31 ¼” w, framed.
