A fine example of a late 18th or early 19th century English oak gate leg table with rectangular top, single drawer on either end, and two D-shaped leaves which open to form a oval top, raised on turned legs joined by stretchers ending in ball feet. The base shows an old black surface. Very good overall condition, with great patina, some drawer edge losses, a split repair to the top, surface imperfections, and expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 27 1/2" h x 15" w closed (49 ½” w open) x 41” d.
