Anglo-Indian Camphorwood Two Part Campaign Chest with Carved Gallery
A wonderful 19th century Anglo-Indian camphorwood two part campaign chest, its upper case with removable foliate carved gallery, two long drawers, and a center deep drawer flanked by four small fitted drawers, over a lower case with two large drawers, all with brass recessed hardware, highlighted with mahogany reeded trim and supported by four turned mahogany short feet. Each case has side brass carrying handles. Very good overall condition, with a wonderful mellow lightened finish, rebuilt center drawer, minor imperfections, and expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 48" h x 43" w x 20" d.
