A diminutive mahogany Hepplewhite style serpentine front chest with overhanging molded top above a case of four beaded and inlaid drawers with quarter fan spandrels and raised by a cyma curved apron with splayed French feet. The unusual old oval brasses depict a shepherd defending his flock from wild animals. Excellent overall restored condition, with edge and surface imperfections, restorations, and expected wear from age and use. This piece was restored and adapted.
