An outstanding inlaid Sheraton Mahogany one drawer Pembroke Table, New York, attributed to cabinet maker Duncan Phyfe, circa 1810. This table has the same leg profile as examples attributed to Phyfe in both Federal Furniture at Boscobel by Berry Tracey, and Duncan Phyfe, by Peter Kenny. On the underside of the drawer is an original large "P", in chalk, which is in all likelihood, an identifying mark. All original and professionally polished. Excellent overall condition, with minor imperfections and minimal expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 28 3/4" h x 21" w x 33" d, closed. The top is 39 1/4" w, open.
Featuring period furniture, fine art, quality porcelain, silver and decorative accessories.
