A superb example of an important terracotta Corinthian goddess in fine clay with original red paint remaining. Similar examples of inferior quality can be found in the Boston MFA and British Museum. Dates to 500-475 BC. Very good overall condition, with paint loss, minor imperfections, and expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 5 ½” h, attached to a one inch high museum quality acrylic stand.
