Pair of Late 19th c KPM Porcelain Buttons or Cufflinks, St. Sixtus & St. Barbara
A wonderful pair of porcelain buttons or cufflinks with handpainted images of St. Sixtus and St. Barbara, copying figures that appear in the painting by Rafael called Sistine Madonna. A partial imprint appears on the back of one of the buttons, KP (?), most probably for KPM, the German firm well known for their porcelain work. These probably date to the late 19th century. Each measure approximately 1” in diameter.
Gender: Male, Age Group: Adult, Color: Gold/Green/Brown, Size: L
