A nice interior watercolor by American artist George Laurence Nelson (1887-1978). Nelson was born in New Rochelle, New York and after study abroad at the Academie Julie with J.P. Laurens, he returned to the New York area, living in Connecticut and became well known for his portrait paintings, landscapes, interiors, and murals. Watercolor on paper, signed lower left, titled on verso New York Water Color Club label “New England Kitchen,” matted and framed under glass in a gold gilt frame. Dimensions: 17 ⅛” h x 11 ¼” w, sight; 28 ¾” h x 22 ½” w, framed.
