A nice example of a classical Empire pier or console table, Philadelphia circa 1825. The marble top supported by a frieze with book matched mahogany veneers above scrolled front legs and shaped apron with mirrored black plate flanked by tapered columns with gilded capitals all raised by four turned and gilded legs. Excellent overall condition, with minor mirror losses and imperfections, and expected wear from age and use. Dimensions: 33” h x 42” w x 18 ½” d.
