This beautiful pastel was done by 20th century Rindge, New Hampshire artist Robert Collier, who is a regional artist well known for his traditional pastel impressionist landscapes and views of Mount Monadnock. His works are highly acclaimed, having been requested by the NH State Capitol, NH Embassy in Belize, Trust for NH Lands, Cedar Crest, and others who appreciate his artistic translation of the essence of New Hampshire environs. This colorful still life work features a pheasant, stoneware jug and scarf on a table. Pastel on paper, signed and dated 90 lower right, matted and framed under glass in a painted wooden frame.
