This wonderful New Hampshire White Mountain watercolor of Glen Ellis Falls in Jackson, was painted by Massachusetts artist Edmund Clark Cabot (1818-1901). Cabot is not only known for his landscape paintings, but also for his architectural achievements as well - one of his most known examples is the Boston Athenæum on Beacon Street. Watercolor on paper, monogrammed lower left, matted and framed under glass, and housed in a spectacular gold gilt frame. Dimensions: 20” h x 14” w, actual; 32 ¾” h x 27” w, framed.
