This charcoal drawing on paper was done by American artist Leon Kroll (1886-1974). Kroll was born in New York City and studied at the Art Students League in NYC and at the Academie Julian in Paris. He lived and worked most of his life in NYC and is best known for realist landscapes, figures and murals. Charcoal on paper, unsigned, matted and framed under glass in a giltwood frame. Dimensions: 14 ⅜” h x 17 ⅜” w, sight; 27 ⅛” h x 30 ⅛” w, framed. Provenance: From the Leon Kroll estate.
