A 19th century English color lithograph with a firefighting theme showing a humorous new fire extinguisher titled “Mrs. Clarke’s Patent Extinguisher. Artist name “T. Spy” lower left, and lower right shows Published March of 1800 by J. Blacklock Royal Exchange. The lithograph is in fine condition, with minimal fading and hardly any discoloring. Matted and framed under acrylic in a decorative gold frame. There is a scratch on the acrylic that runs diagonally from the upper left corner approximately half way across the lithograph. Dimensions: 13 ½” h x 9 ⅛” w, actual; 23 ¼” h x 19” w, framed. Minor frame losses.
