This wonderfully detailed interior oil painting of a hunter returning home was painted by German artist Adolf Eberle (1843-1913). Eberle was born in Munich, Bavaria, and attended Munich Academy, studying under Karl Von Piloty, and became well known for his genre, animal, and interior paintings. Oil on panel, signed lower left "Adolph Eberle Munchen," and housed in a gold gilt frame. Dimensions: 19 ⅜" h x 25 ¼" w, actual; 27 ¼" h x 33" w, framed.
