This wonderfully carved wooden tramp art table was carved by the group known as the Hermitage Artists. This group of artists began in New York with five men: Michael Lavery, Andy Stutter, Jim Kennedy, Paul Cunningham, and Ira Rogoff. This group of men produced a large quantity of quality tramp art to support themselves and was largely responsible for reviving tramp art of the at the time in the 1980's. This table measures 28 ⅜" h with a 22" diameter top and 11" diameter base, and is in very good condition, with nice patina and light surface wear. The base shows a small label with an Uncle Sam Figure and reads "Tramp Art by Hermitage des Artistes".
