These are fine examples of late 19th century craftsmanship with burled walnut inlaid tops with seaweed cartouches, hinged demi-lune tops with needlework panels inside each- one depicting exotic birds and foliage, and the other depicting a woman seated in a landscape. Each has a single front drawer and two swinging rear gate legs to support an open top, with ring-and-ball tapered turnings on ball feet. The tables are in good condition, with minor losses to veneer and turnings on the legs, wear typical for their age. Dimensions: Each table is 29 ½" h x 32" w x 13 ¼" deep (closed) and each top measures 32" w x 26" deep (open).
