This wonderful marine painting was done by Warren W. Sheppard 1858-1937). Sheppard was born in Greenwich, New Jersey, spending most of his life in the New Jersey/New York where he became well known not only as a marine painter, but as a yacht designer as well. Oil on canvas, signed lower right, and housed in an ornate gessoed frame. Dimensions: 14" h x 10" w, actual; 22 ½" h x 18 ¾", framed.
