Absolutely delightful Capo di Monte flagon or tankard with a depiction of a very festive scene with scarcely dressed men, women and children and winged putti in the trees. The top of the lid has a small child or cherub seated with one hand raised and the other holding a golden chalice. Marked at base with 5-point crown over "N", circa 1771-1821. In very good overall condition. 10.5"H (including lid) and 7"W at handle and spout.
