Wonderful oil painting of a rugged, rocky landscape with nice trees and possibly a village in the distance by American artist Frederick Ballard Williams (1871-1956). Williams lived and worked most of his life in New Jersey and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe. He is best known for idyllic landscapes and portrait and figure painting. Oil on panel, signed lower right. Dimensions: 12" x 16" unframed; 18.75" x 22.75" framed.
