Outstanding handcolored lithograph of Point Lookout, Maryland by E. Sachse & Co., 1864. Point Lookout has a fascinating history including its use as the first governor of Maryland's residence in the 1630's, a lookout point during the American Revolution and the War of 1812 and as a prison during the Civil War. This lithograph is in excellent condition. Very nice new frame. Overall, framed dimensions are 34.5" x 45.5".
