19th c French Regency Style Needlepoint Upholstered Armchair

A fine walnut French Regency style armchair with decorative needlepoint upholstery featuring figures, birds, and foliage with bronzed tassel border and velour back. The arms are scroll and foliate carved, continuing down to the feet and decorative stretchers. The chair probably dates to the 19th century and is in very good condition, with some needlework wear in spots, slight fade, minor surface scratches, and light wear commensurate with age and use.
