For your consideration is the well made cuff bracelet by Irene Manuelito. Now known as Irene Pine, she has been crafting great jewelry since 1973 and since this has her maiden name, I believe it is an earlier piece. She was taught by Raymond Becenti and is daughter of Bessia Becenti. She is a very talented jewelry maker and silver smith. This piece is just beautiful great inlay -pure turquoise and green inlay in the bird, coral flower accents and brown inlay branches and green leaves against a mother of pearl background. The sides are equally well done with a feather half ball and twisted rope design. This a quality piece of well made Navajo jewelry with a nice weight of 55.9 grams.
Signed Navajo Im Irene Manvelito and tested and guaranteed as sterling silver.
The bracelet measures 1 and 5/8 inches at center and tapers down to 1/2 inch in the back. Inside measures 6 and 3/8 inches around including the 1 inch back opening.
A sturdy and well made piece in excellent condition. Some natural variation in the mop. All stone secure I think the front was polished. Nice patina on back.
