For your consideration is this interesting Mexican blue leather and sterling silver necklace and bracelet set. The sterling has cut outs - larger on the necklace so that you can see the leather underneath. The center sterling pieces slide. The bracelet has two bolt like adornments. Each piece is marked 925 Mexico TH-47. This indicated the set was made in Taxco after 1979. The set has a heavy old uneven patina and good age.
The necklace measures 17 and 1/4 inch around . The bracelet measures 7 and 1/4 inch when clasped. The slider pieces are 7 mms thick.
The clasps are fully functioning, heavy and well made. As stated above, the patina is heavy and uneven. The leather has a little wear/ fraying and I added a picture of the worst case. The set was worn and loved and this will not be a big deal when worn. White spots are flash glare.
