For your consideration is this nice antique pin. Marked Silver and a worn LC or LG & mark, definitely Scottish in origin with agate crescents and a nice center stone. The stone sometimes look more purple and sometimes more pink, depending on the light that you are in. The silver has nice etching. The silver has acid tested red indicating the pin is sterling silver. I could not find any info on the maker. The pin has a great old patina, the old tube hinge and C clasp and dates to 1890 or earlier.
It measures 1 and 1/8 inches by 7/8 inches.
The pin is in excellent antique functioning condition. I see a tiny pin hole in the center stone - see last pic and a little scratching to the agates - topical only and not through the stone. ***Please go by the last picture for the most accurate color of the agates.
