For your consideration is this beautiful Mexican Taxco sterling silver and turquoise inlay chip necklace. Done is a nice Aztec style design and just gorgeous. The marks are Hecho En Taxco 925 and what looks like Tere and TL- followed by two numbers that I can't make out. This style of government sterling assay marking makes the piece post 1979 but the piece has nice patina and good age.
The necklace measures 15 and 1/2 inches when clasped and is meant to be worn high and regally on your neck. It is 1/2 inch wide.
It is in excellent functioning condition. There is not damage or missing inlay - some chips are lighter in color. I see a tiny bit of excess solder on one link - see last picture - this is simply part of the making.
