For your consideration is this great green stone bracelet, pin and screw on earring set. I believe the green stone may be travertine, calcite or agate. A beautiful matching set. Purchased by a neighbor's mother in the 1940s, this set has a thick and heavy patina and is expertly hand made. This set carries early Mexican marks. All has tested and is guaranteed as sterling with the exception of the screw back earring hardware. The bracelet is marked Hecho En Mexico, the pin Mexican Silver, and the earrings Mexico silver. As documented in many books, the pre 1945 Mexican jewelry often did not have sterling marked on the pieces. A bold and attractive set. The bracelet has the older slide pin closure.
The bracelet measures a hair over 1 and 5/8 inches across the widest points It measures 7 inches when clasped. The earring faces measure a hair under 7/8 inches by a hair under 3/4 inches. The pin measures 2 and 3/4 inches by 1 and 3/4 inches.
The excellent condition with a fully functioning hardware and no dings or dents. I did notice some uneven patina and two balls of the smaller balls in the bracelet has wholes. These are not dents and occurred during the making. I will be listing more of her Mexican jewelry that was purchased in the 1940s, please stop back.
