For your consideration are these beautiful hand hammered modernistic earrings. I am calling the stones synthetic as opposed to real because I do see a honey comb pattern but I could be incorrect .. I would prefer to err on the safe side. The opals are full of fire and just beautiful. The earrings are signed Sterling Roxanne Marden. I find several references on this artist including The Amon Carter Museum of Art,The San Francisco Art Festival and the copied reference from Wikipedia on Eleanor Owen - In 1947, she worked with Roxanne Marden designing costumes for Columbia University's performance of Lion About Dance, which was part of the Modern Dance Recital presented by the Philolexian Society at the Brander Matthews Theater. I also saw an article that she is Istanbul born and teaches classes. These are wonderful made and quality earrings. They have nice patina and age,
The face measures 7/8 inches across.
These are in excellent functioning condition with no damage.
