For your consideration is this nice circa 1930s 1940s mostly bakelite necklace. It has deeply carved flowers. Both the flowers as well as the larger apple juice beads have passed the simichrome test. The smaller spacer beads are NOT bakelite and have seams..possibly celluloid. The green glass clasp is marked Czecho Slovakia. While it is a different color I do believe it is original to the piece and used to blend in with the brown and green carved beads. I see not evidence of mangling or replacement. This is a very cool old and collectible piece.
The necklace measures 17 inches when clasped. The apple juice bakelite round beads measure 12 mms in diameter and the flowers measure 14 mms in diameter.
The necklace is in excellent condition with no damage and a secure clasp.
