For your consideration is this neat circa 1930s 1940s butterfly pin. It has nice stone inlay in the piece. One stone looks like tiger's eye. The only mark is a hard to read 980. This is an early mark on Mexican jewelry and indicates it is has even more solver than your standard 925 sterling silver. The pin has an old c hook closure. It is a colorful and pretty , well made pin.
It measures 1 and 5/8 inches by 1 and 1/2.
It is in excellent vintage condition with fully functioning hardware. All the stone is secure. I see variation in the stone that I believe is natural or the cut of the stone used. The patina is thick and heavy.
